What’s your least favorite work story?

I have several because the depths of insanity I’ve dealt with over the course of my career are astounding! One of the most freaky was a client that completed a dismantle her kitchen because she did not want to take medication. I’ve also had clients flip me out of chairs and pin me to walls and then run into the psychologist and tell extraordinary stories over a truly basic situation. Now the jobs I have had aren’t for everyone but  pysch is a fascinating thing in how it plays out in people’s lives… tell us your story in the comments.Land of Doom 2 - concept art 001

What’s your favorite cause? Here’s an endorsement for one of mine ;)

Holistic wellness community center: Ventura CA

WaterfallCompany Purpose

We plan to empower the local community to be more mindful of their individual choices that are affecting themselves and the planet. Our true target market is all human beings, ages 0 to 100, in every culture, internationally. For this reason, we have three causes that we will ascribe to through our business practices, programs and services – an individual, community and global cause:

  • INDIVIDUAL HUMAN POTENTIAL CAUSE: To offer programs and services that teach individuals and families how to access their innate healing abilities by aligning to their personal truths, resolving limiting beliefs, listening to intuition, unconditional self-love, and compassionate loving kindness, thereby creating the necessary mind-body-spirit connections for deeper somatic awareness and inner peacefulness.
  • ONE LOVE COMMUNITY CAUSE: To offer programs and services that teach Permaculture and sustainability skills for healthier practices for humanity and the planet, and to empower the community to be stewards for the Earth and live in peace with all living things.
  • GLOBAL UNITY CAUSE: To become a catalyst for positive societal change through our online humanity coaching, service-learning, and global citizenship programs, to help create the tipping point needed for humanity to transition to a peaceful society.

We are creating this business based on the concept of Social Entrepreneurism:

“Social entrepreneurs are individuals with innovative solutions to society’s most pressing social problems. They are ambitious and persistent, tackling major social issues and offering new ideas for wide-scale change. Rather than leaving societal needs to the government or business sectors, social entrepreneurs find what is not working and solve the problem by changing the system, spreading the solution, and persuading entire societies to take new leaps…Just as entrepreneurs change the face of business, social entrepreneurs act as the change agents for society, seizing opportunities others miss and improving systems, inventing new approaches, and creating solutions to change society for the better.” (Source: https://www.ashoka.org/social_entrepreneur)

The Holistic Wellness Community Center has been created for and by people and inspired by the social enterprise opportunities of our human organization. It is firmly committed to sustainability, constant improvement and customer satisfaction in order to generate wealth in our local economy through business development and the creation of cooperative employment, which:

    • Is based on a firm commitment to cooperation and uses democratic methods for organization and management.
    • Fosters participation and the involvement of people in the management, profits and ownership of their companies, developing a shared project which unites social, business and personal progress.
    • Fosters training and innovation through the development of human and technological skills, applying its own Management Model aimed at helping companies become market leaders and fostering cooperation.

Addressing Local Issues for the Greater Good of Humanity:

  • Scarce opportunities for health equity and food security;
  • Large-scale unemployment and poverty in Ventura County;
  • Socioeconomic inequality of Ventura County residents; and,
  • A commitment to integrate humanist values into business.

What is your favorite book of all time?

I love books, always have… in fact I much prefer them to people the majority of the time! 😉 My top one is Gone With The Wind don’t ask me why it’s just the first one that came to my mind. I think it’s really important to instill in children from the very beginning of their life just how valuable books are. Besides the fact that the more your read the more knowledge you will acquire books can take you into a whole new world without ever having to jump on a plane or spend massive amounts of money traveling unless of course you want to which I do and have been lucky enough to go places all over the globe. Where are your favorite places to visit tell us below…xoxo gone-with-the-wind

What’s the #1 thing on your vision board?

We hear a lot especially if we are in healing circles about vision boards. What exactly is a vision board and how do you use it? Vision boards are helpful to use when planning out your exact steps to reach a goal. You fill them with pictures, quotes, whatever is useful for you to more clearly see and define your actual goals. I love them and have made several over the years. It is important to revisit and adjust and keep them visible because it can get tiring to relentlessly pursue and goal and fell frustrated because you are not reaching it as quickly as you might like to and as our circumstances and milestones are reach goals change.Chcic Posh Romancejpeg vision board

There are people with strong feelings about the word “ego”. I personally agree with the perspective of a Leo medium on the subject and she said something close to “If we don’t have an ego and sometimes a very strong one we won’t get anything done in life and business” Now this was relevant to be because I was preached to a lot about “being humble” & “being nice”. Guess what? While those two traits have their purpose and time to use if you put them ahead of yourself  at the expense of being yourself and expressing yourself while letting  things go on that no one should be having to tolerate it can be one of the worst things you ever do to yourself!!!

Another thing I believe everyone should have is a “bucket list”. This is a list you make of all the things you would like to do before you die. Feel free to make this list super long and get started taking ACTION to do the things on it. Some people start one then put it in a drawer somewhere and the things never get done. Don’t be that person, be a DOER & not just a DREAMER!

Sparkle On & Have a Terrific Tuesday!!

What’s your greatest accomplishment in life?! I’ll tell you if you tell me ;)

I’ve accomplished many things in my life. I’ve had nothing and I’ve had everything. When people want to judge you for having money it’s because of their own training about what that means and many false belief systems. I’ve worked so many hours in a week I was exhausted on every level emotionally, physically etc. There is no way to work as much as I have at one time and be functioning on an optimal level of well being. I have three associate degrees, a great work ethic, many friends & many haters. If you stand for what you believe in and are unapologetic about it there are always going to be people that disagree with you, this is not your tribe so move on and don’t worry about it. 😉 Tell me about you in the comment section 😉The-Winds-Resort-Gold-Star-Of-Excellence gstar

How do you use your spirituality??

I use mine in my work by recognizing that no matter what your “religion” is most come down to some core principles of living. For me that means using respect for others, working with them using language that they can understand, finding out what they want their lives to look like and going from there. I’ve gone all across the spectrum with this concept. I started out in my young twenties believing strongly in God and the church. I came to find out after 12 years of that just how much of it is sham for some ludicrous decision making processes and incorrect people training. I’m now at the place where I’m about clearing energy fields, removing blocks subconscious or otherwise preventing you from getting where you want to go, chakra clearing and aligning and tarot. We all have the power to achieve, do, and be from utilizing only our own inner power and the outside support systems we choose or don’t choose.Afternoon Delite
